The former US ambassador to the UN, Samantha Power, has said that Grace Mugabe's actions may be the reason the Zimbabwean Army felt compelled to take control.

She made the comments after the military seized state TV with an army spokesman announced it was targeting people close to Mr Mugabe who had caused "social and economic suffering".
