Reading FC: Stam pleased claim the three points after a 'tough game'
The Reading manager Jaap Stam spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor after a 3-1 away win at Sunderland, courtesy of goals from Dave Edwards and Mo Barrow.
Jaap Stam, Reading manager:
"Tough game, when you come up against a side with a new manager you know they are going to be up for it - he has been at our place quite often to be honest.
"We invited them to press us a little bit which you obviously don't want to do...but overall the way the team have worked and played, I'm very happy with that.
"If you are three-nil up why should we go forward?"
