Peregrine falcons fly like guided missiles
Without even knowing it, engineers built guided missiles to use the same flying strategy that peregrine falcons use when attacking. Professor Graham Taylor and his research group at the University of Oxford, UK, realised this after strapping miniature GPS units and cameras onto flying peregrine falcons.
