The Belgian MEP, Philippe Lamberts, thinks the two-year Brexit transition period is "pretty ambitious".

Mr Lamberts, a member of the European Parliament's Brexit Steering Group, said: "If you ask me to bet any money on this, I would expect that a transition will last beyond two years, maybe three or four, I don't know."
