Legal right to high-speed broadband
Matt Hancock, the digital minster has announced that homes and businesses will have a legal right to access high-speed broadband by 2020.
The government believes the Universal Service Obligation offers "certainty" to consumers.
In their election manifesto earlier this year the Conservatives promised to have every home and business in Britain would be able to have high-speed broadband by 2020.
