Baroness Trumpington - safe to say easily our oldest guest editor (she's 95) - who hit the headlines most recently for flicking the V sign at another peer in the House of Lords. But she's never exactly been a respecter of convention. She was born into great wealth... lost it all... worked at Bletchley Park... became a government minister... and a peer... by any standards an extraordinary life.
