The author of the controversial book about Donald Trump claims the president's staff decided he was not fit for the job.

Mr Trump has accused Michael Wolff of making up stories for his book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House and branded the author as a "total loser".

But in an interview with Today's Nick Robinson Mr Wolff defended his research and said his book would help end the Trump presidency.
