A short docu-drama, broken into two parts, looking at how Functional Skills English (Speaking, Listening and Communication, Reading and Writing) are crucial for people working in a catering environment. In this storyline, the manager and chef of the Orange Tree restaurant meet with waiting staff to discuss the two special fish dishes of the day and various customer options within them. We see the importance of listening, speaking and reading in this context. The second part shows two customers ordering the two specials.
