How is your spelling? Do you ever struggle with words like "definitely", "accommodation" and "embarrassed"?
If so, you are not alone. The English Spelling Society is going to host an International Congress in the spring with the aim of choosing a new English spelling scheme. It says our current system, which has not been reformed since Shakespeare was writing, poses too many problems. Dan Damon heard more from Stephen Linstead of the English Spelling Society.
