It's three and a half years since the world watched in horror the spectacle of an American man savagely murdered - beheaded - in the Syrian desert by a British man. The American was James Foley and his murderer was dubbed Jihadi John. He was one of a group that became known bizarrely as the British Beatles. Its last two members Alexanda Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh were captured by Syrian Kurdish forces.
