Put DNA testing into a search engine and you鈥檒l find thousands of services offering to trace your ancestry, predict your risk of serious disease, or tell you how quickly you鈥檙e ageing. The kits are sent to your home and the prices have come down to as little as 拢50. You send off a saliva swab and the companies do the rest, but how good are they? Winifred Robinson finds out.
