Talking newspaper provides news service to the blind
Local newspapers have for years provided a very local news service for their readers. But there is a huge section of the community for whom reading a newspaper isn't an option.
For those who are blind or partially sighted, there is a UK network of over 500 talking newspapers.
One of them is Fareport Talking News. They send hundreds of copies of their audio edition every week.
And as ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Neil Sackley found out when he visited their recording studio, it's a totally free service.
