Northern Ireland must not be EU 'rule taker'
DUP MEP Diane Dodds says that Northern Ireland must stop being part of "European institutions" after Brexit. She said that the UK should no longer be a "rule taker" from the EU.
But also speaking today, Irish Senator Neale Richmond, spokesperson on European Affairs in the Seanad for the governing party Fine Gael, said that Ireland was prepared to look at any trading agreement the UK puts forward. He added that, as of yet, the Irish government had seen "zero detail".
