Penny Coomes on achieving her Winter Olympic dreams
Maidenhead's Penny Coomes and partner Nick Buckland placed 10th at last month's Winter Olympic games in South Korea.
She told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Sarah Walker more about her time in Pyeonchang, and the support she received from back in Berkshire.
Penny Coomes:
"A lot of my family still live there [Maidenhead] and whenever I come back to England that is home, I went to Cox Green school...and I'm sat here smiling when I think about it.
"She took me on a learn to skate course at Slough, but she actually took me a week to early.
"I got a few [messages] from all teachers and pupils from schools that I used to attend, and I don't think my Mum ever thought I would be here."
