Former national security advisor, Lord Ricketts, says the government should take "pretty firm action" once a conclusion on responsibility for the nerve agent attack on an ex-Russian spy and his daughter is reached.

The latest intelligence is due to be presented to the prime minister and a National Security Council meeting.

Lord Ricketts, told 蜜芽传媒 Radio 4's Today programme he had "little doubt that this had come from Russia" and the response should be robust.
