My photos and videos are being used for online dating scams
People go online looking for a soulmate. Criminals will try to exploit that to convince lonely hearts to part with money. What we’ve not heard before is where the object of their affection is also a victim. Steve Bustin is a public speaker and a good-looking guy. His image appears quite often online because of the work he does in communications. But his photos have been stolen and used by fraudsters who believe that women will fall for him. In the past few weeks he was contacted by a woman called Constance who thought she was in a relationship with him, or certainly with someone who looked exactly like him. This has happened before. He has never used dating sites before. Peter White hears from Constance and the real Steve Bustin.
