Is it over for copper coins?
Six in every ten coppers - 1 or 2p coins - are used for just one transaction and then never again. Either because they are saved or thrown away.
The Royal Mint has to produce 500 million of them every year to replace the ones that fall out of circulation.
But possibly no longer.
The Chancellor Philip Hammond has launched a review of their use.
