Gary Numan: “I don’t look anyone in the eye for more than 5 seconds”
Pop star Gary Numan has told ѿý 5 live’s Afternoon Edition that managing his Asperger Syndrome forces him to count the length of time he looks people in the eye.
The creator of hits such as ‘Cars’ and ‘Are Friends Electric?’ told Nihal Arthanayake and Angellica Bell that he is now more “at ease” with his condition. But he says the process has “never been natural” and has led him to create a “whole world of mechanisms” that allow him to cope.
