Gary Numan: the song that saved my marriage
The pop star Gary Numan has told ѿý 5 live's Afternoon Edition how a song saved his marriage. He told Nihal Arthanayake and Angellica Bell that he was going through a rough patch with his wife Gemma. "We were unable to talk to each other," he said, "being a bit cowardly I just thought I'd run away."
But his decision to write his feeling down in a song led to a chance of heart. "You start to write it all down and you remember the things that you loved about that person in the first place."
He now describes the song as "the most important" he's ever written, calling it "life changing."
