The Orkney Chapel
The Italian Chapel is one of Orkney's most beautiful if unlikely attractions. Two second world war corrugated zinc Nissen huts transformed by Italian prisoners of war, who were being made to work on Churchill's barriers to protect Scapa Flow.
Having drawn tourists from across the world, the chapel has now inspired Blair Douglas, a former member of Scots band Runrig, to record music memorialising it. ѿý reporter Huw Williams spoke to him about the project.
