Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole says Romelu Lukaku has had a 鈥榩henomenal鈥� first season at the club.

Speaking with Darren Fletcher and Jermaine Jenas on 5 live鈥檚 Friday Football Social, Cole added: 鈥淚t鈥檚 a difficult role playing one man up front in any Premier League team, but when it鈥檚 a team like the way Manchester United are playing this season, I take my hat off to him. He鈥檚 been phenomenal!

Lukaku has scored 26 goals for the club this season since his summer transfer from Everton, despite suffering some criticism after scoring just once in 12 games in October and November.
