We were never a team – Hargreaves
Former England midfielder Owen Hargreaves thinks the current England squad plays better together as a team than the so-called 'golden generation'.
Hargreaves featured for England at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups, alongside such players as David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney.
But Hargreaves believes that current England manager Gareth Southgate is giving his team a strong identity.
