Khan could buy Wembley this summer
Billionaire American businessman Shahid Khan has revealed he's hopeful of buying Wembley Stadium by the start of the new football season this August. Khan wants to do a deal with the FA 'as soon as possible but as thorough as possible' and believes it's a 'reasonable assumption' for the sale to go through in the next few months.
Khan, who owns Fulham and NFL team Jacksonville Jaguars, says he's 'invested a lot of time and thought' into the billion pound deal and hopes for a 'win-win' situation for everyone involved.
