Reading FC: Clement achieves safety objective
Royals boss Paul Clement is pleased to have kept his side in the Championship.
After being brought in with eight games to play with the task of saving the club from relegation to League 1, Clement feels it's a job well done.
"The team were on the slide when I came here," Clement told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "Confidence was low, the team weren't getting results.
"We can turn around and look at ourselves and say we got the job done ourselves and didn't rely on other results."
But Clement admits he has a lot of work to do in the summer.
"There's a lot to be done, and as far as I am concerned, that starts straight away.
"We've got to have a good pre-season, we want to try and do some stuff on the recruitment side."
