Rail firms plan shake-up of train fares
Britain's rail companies are launching a public consultation to reform the way fares are designed and regulated.
Paul Plummer, chief executive of the industry body the Rail Delivery Group, says measures like a total cap on train ticket prices would not be introduced without consulting the public. He says rail companies want to hear ideas from everyone.
