Race marshal’s lucky escape: ‘My life flashed before my eyes’
There was drama at the 2018 Tour De Yorkshire, as a support vehicle crashed through a traffic island and narrowly missed race marshal Phil Sullivan. It happened as cyclists came round a bend as they headed towards the finish line in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Phil told ѿý Radio 5 live his “life flashed before his eyes” and “everything seemed to slow down” as the car headed straight for him.
