Generations: Generation X
From the silent generation through to the latest generation, Radio 4's PM is looking at which of the generations has had it the worst.
The Resolution Foundation think tank describes members of generation X as being born between 1966 and 1980. They are the peer group who enjoyed a free university education and were the first to experience the internet, but one of the biggest concerns for them is their lack of pensions.
Broadcaster and writer Iain Lee recalls growing up as a member of generation X.
