Meet Laura and Sarah, also known as The Ayoub Sisters. They hit the spotlight when their Robert Burns tribute record 鈥楳elodies From Scotland鈥� topped the iTunes chart. It features some of Burns' most famous works, including Auld Lang Syne and My Love is Like A Red Red Rose. The sisters, who have since recorded with producer Mark Ronson, have now signed a contract with the label Decca.

Although their parents are not from Scotland, the sisters said they were brought up with a love of Scottish music. 鈥淲e just love music and it doesn鈥檛 matter whether it鈥檚 classical or pop or trad Scottish or Arabic because we try and incorporate these genres, these flavours together in a unified sound that actually we believe is open to everyone鈥�.
