Grenfell: Building regulations need 'whole system change'
A government review is being published into what kind of building regulations are needed in the aftermath of the Grenfell tragedy.
Some architects and Grenfell survivors have been campaigning for an explicit ban on the kind of cladding and insulation which appeared to spread flames at the tower, but Dame Judith Hackitt’s review is expected to fall short of recommending an outright ban.
She told the Today programme that the system is broken, but said that the solution is not “as simple as banning cladding”.
