Aborigines planned migration to Australia
Aborigines are Australia's indigenous population. They arrived on the continent 50,000-60,000 years ago, long before the arrival of Europeans. It has long been thought that Aborigines arrived in Australia "by accident" from islands in Indonesia. However, researchers at Australia's James Cook University say their arrival was part of a planned seaborne migration. Julian Marshall spoke to the co-author and James Cook University archaeology Professor Sean Ulm.
