Close aide to Kim Jong-un flies to the US
President Trump has confirmed that a close aide of the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, is travelling to New York, amid a flurry of diplomacy ahead of a possible summit. The North Korean vice-chairman and the country's former spy chief, Kim Yong Chol, made a brief halt in China before travelling to the United States for the latest in a series of meetings to revive the planned summit between Mr Trump and Mr Kim. Dan Damon asked Heejin Koo about how important the trip was.
