Biffy Clyro singer Simon Neil talks about how exhausting life on tour can be.

Speaking to 5 live Afternoon Edition鈥檚 Nihal Arthanayake, Neil said: 鈥淵ou lose contact with your reality, I think, when you鈥檙e on the road too much. It鈥檚 so addictive playing shows, and the adrenaline buzz and being out there and travelling.

鈥淚 guess what happens to most bands is you don鈥檛 realise when your body鈥檚 had enough鈥� The band is important, but I think we would all absolutely hate it if the band ever caused us to fall out in that regards.

鈥淭he band, for health reasons, now comes slightly behind us as people,鈥� he said.
