鈥楯ohn鈥� (not his real name) became addicted to video games in his early 20s when he began playing first person shooters online.

Speaking to 5 live he said gaming 鈥渆nded up costing me my family.鈥�

鈥淚鈥檇 sit there from Friday night through to Sunday night in front of the computer.鈥�

Gaming addiction is to be listed as a mental health condition for the first time by the World Health Organisation in their International Classification of Diseases set to be released in June 2018.
