Fabian Delph says he is 'proud' of his Manchester City and England teammate Raheem Sterling.

The forward has been the subject of a number of negative newspaper headlines recently, and penned a response to them in an article published on Friday.

"To put up with some of the press that gets put out about him, and to keep going and dig deep and put in those performances - it shows what an amazing character he is."
