'Maternity leave should be written into contracts' - Stacy Lewis
Two time major winner Stacy Lewis won’t be competing at the 2018 Women’s British Open, as she is expecting her first child in November. Stacy’s main sponsors agreed to pay her contract out in full until the end of the year, despite the fact she will miss a majority of the season on maternity leave, a move that has created waves on the women’s tour. The American wants more sponsors to write maternity leave into players contracts.
