ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ New Comedy Award winner inspired by living with refugee
The winner of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ New Comedy Award 2018, Stephen Buchanan, says the refugee his "amazing" mum took in inspired his work.
Speaking to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live at the Edinburgh Festival, he said "it's amazing just to speak to him and see what his experiences have been."
He told Nihal Arthanayake: "None of the jokes are actually about him. I use my observations around living with him."
