Hubert Parry: Blest Pair of Sirens (Last Night of the Proms)
This short, popular work is Parry's ecstatic setting for chorus of Milton's ode, At a solemn Musick. Its dedicatee, Charles Villiers sTanford conducted the premeire in 1887. It returns to the Proms in the centenary year of Parry's death.
