'Portland deserves a great break' - Sir Tim Smit
Plans are in place for Portland to get a multi-million-pound tourist attraction backed by the Eden Project.
In October ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent reported that 'Jurassica' and 'Memo' had joined forces and with the additional backing of the Eden Project they would work together to bring a biodiversity tourist attraction to the island.
It's set to be underground, in the tunnels of Albion Stone's Jordans Mine - and accessed from Bower's Quarry on Portland - and tell the story of how life evolved.
Eden Project co-founder and executive chairman, Sir Tim Smit, spoke to Steve Harris on Breakfast in Dorset.
