MP cradles baby during Commons debate
The Liberal Democrat deputy leader Jo Swinson has appeared in the House of Commons with her 11-week-old baby, Gabriel, to listen to the closing remarks of a discussion about proxy voting. It is thought to be the first time a child has been present during a debate.
