Diane Abbott on Brexit, Labour and immigration
Diane Abbott tells Newsnight that a no-deal Brexit would be "catastrophic," and that Labour is more united on this than the Tories.
The shadow home secretary says the party is waiting to see the prime minister's deal with the EU meets its criteria before deciding whether to support it.
Asked a question on the party's migration policy from the Labour conference floor, she says presenter Emily Maitlis "seems to be reading from a Tory script" and the reasons behind the leave vote are complex.
