Reporter’s Notebook: Kenneth Macdonald
The winners of this year's Nobel Prizes have this week been booking their tickets to Stockholm for the big awards bash. Meanwhile a less trumpeted award has been announced, which is in its way no less significant. A group of researchers at the University of Dundee won a prize for some science that failed to prove what it set out to discover. But that was a good thing, as our science correspondent Kenneth Macdonald records in this week’s reporter's notebook.
