Will spring be less colourful next year?
It’s the time of year for planting spring-flowering bulbs, but there’s a problem this year. Suppliers of flowering bulbs are reporting the worst harvest for 50 years. The really cold snap in late February, early March, followed by the long, dry summer, has been bad for bulbs, especially daffodils. Winifred Robinson finds out more.
