Born in Bangladesh but raised in the Swindon area, Junab Ali found himself running 4 restaurants by the age of 21 to the becoming Mayor of Swindon at 44.

The duality of identity to being British Bangladeshi has enhanced his experience and talks of his duty to serve the community. First British Bangladeshi Muslim to be elected in Swindon and Wiltshire.
