Plans to restrict how much people can spend on fixed-odds betting terminals should be implemented sooner, a group of MPs insist. They say the proposed £2 cap on maximum stakes – down from £100 – should be brought in by April next year, and the government doesn’t need to wait until October 2019 as planned.
