The Roving Crows, who organise Lakefest, played a week of shows in Normandy - including a gig for the French Navy!
Ìý
The group has been a firm fixture on the local music scene after moving to Colwall from Gloucestershire. But it all began for main songwriter Paul O'Neill in Kildare, Ireland, before attending a performing arts college in New York City.
Ìý
The band played their first-ever festival, courtesy of us, and now run their own! They're the people behind Lakefest and, wanting to return the favour, they gave us our very own ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Music tent.
Ìý
Early support from Introducing included playing support to Jamie Cullum at Colston Hall in Bristol and regular features as Track of the Week. They're now full time musicians and tour the continent with their Irish upbeat sounds.

Music therapy
Ìý
Two years on from that life changing day, a 10-year-old Herefordshire girl and her dad are looking back on how music made their journey to recovery that much easier.
Ìý
Tony Bamber, and his daughter Jasmine, say music therapy has played a big part in their recovery; helping Jasmine regain her speech while giving her a welcome break from the hard physical rehabilitation she was going through.ÌýTogether, they've even written a song about their experience.

Switching on Worcester's Christmas Lights
Ìý
Not only was this a fantastic opportunity for the musicians we selected (who didn’t even know they were being considered for this incredible gig), but also a chance for thousands of people to see the amazing talent we have right here on our doorstep.
Ìý
As always, we also hope this will also inspire other musicians to share their music with us.
Ìý
The event, this year, moved from the Guildhall to the newly-revamped Cathedral Square under the statue of Sir Edward Elgar.
