No-deal 'must be avoided at all costs' - Irish Senator

As the prime minister faces pressure to rule out a no-deal Brexit, Kirsty Wark is joined by Neale Richmond, chairman of the Irish Brexit Committee, Conservative peer Lord Lamont and Children's Minister Nadhim Zahawi.

Mr Richmond tells Newsnight why he isn't preparing for a hard border with Northern Ireland, saying a no-deal scenario should be avoided.

Meanwhile, the former Chancellor of the Exchequer Lord Lamont, who campaigned to leave the EU, told us that while it's not his preferred option, he believes no-deal is "perfectly workable".
