Social media and suicide: What is the evidence?
Instagram has pledged to remove graphic images of self harm from its site and the UK's Chief Medical Officer has recommended devices be banned from meal times and bedrooms for the sake of youngsters' mental health. This comes amid growing concerns about the impact of social media content on self-harm, anorexia, and suicide.
But how much solid evidence exists of such a link, particularly in terms of suicide?
