Growing up with Ruby Murray
Ruby Murray shot to stardom when she was 19. Her most quoted achievement was that in 1955 she had five top 20 songs including Softly Softly at one time in the UK charts. Later today she will be commemorated when a blue plaque is unveiled on Donegall Road in South Belfast, close to where she was born and raised. Her children Tim and Julie popped into the Good Morning Ulster studio ahead of the plaque being unveiled.
