Alexandra Shulman remembers Karl Lagerfeld
Iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld died aged 85 in Paris after a short illness.
The German designer, who was the creative director for Chanel and Fendi, was one of the industry's most prolific figures and worked up until his death. Karl Lagerfeld is credited with transforming the fortunes of Chanel after he joined in 1983.
