One big concern in the gaming world at the moment is the use of something called ‘loot boxes’ or ‘loot crates’ in online games and whether they amount to gambling. Loot crates are little virtual boxes that you’re offered in the middle of a game and you’re allowed to buy something you really want for your character. The trick is, you never know what’s inside the box or the crate until after you’ve paid for it.
